Faith and Family Month Activities
Faith and Family Month is a month dedicated to celebrate both our faith in Christ as well as God's model of family as an earthly representation of Christ and the church. He is our bridegroom and we are the bride!

Some families face financial stress, work-life balance, and conflicts within the family. This month provides an opportunity to address these issues and find ways to overcome them. "
We have local mayors (Bradenton and Palmetto) involved and there are many churches united and seeking to create a visible presence of God and the church in our community, in spite of all the noise that comes against faith in God. We know that faith in God through Christ is the most important part of life and we want to help people find faith and grow in their relationship with Him.

At Iglesia Palabra de Fe - Word of Faith Church we will be focusing on the family all through the month, but then we'll finish the month on Sunday, June 28th with a special:
-Family Service with a guest minister (fully bilingual service) starting at 10:30 AM at the church : 1872 18th St, Sarasota. Rev. Phil Privette Jr and his team from Turning Point International Ministries (TPIM) will be with us for a powerful bilingual service. We'll have free gifts and honor for the moms. Then we'll head out to a:
-Family Picnic and Baptism at Lido Beach County Park. It's open to all from 3 to 6pm. The address is 2201 Benjamin Franklin Dr, Sarasota, FL 34236. This event is open to the entire community and we'll have free food and baptisms going on throughout the afternoon. If parking is limited unavailable, there's a free trolley that runs till 7pm from Main Street at 301 all the way down main and out through St. Armand's and ends at the Park. More info at www.sarasotabayrunner.com. So come on out for free food and lots of fun! Baptisms will take place throughout the afternoon.
