La Semana Santa es nuestra conmemoración y celebración anual del acto de amor sacrificial y triunfante de Jesús, al completar Él su misión aquí en la tierra. Esto ocurrió tras tres años de ministerio, durante los cuales demostró su propósito a sus discípulos y estableció lo que se convertiría en la nueva iglesia. A medida que se acercaba aquel día trascendental, Jesús se dirigió hacia Jerusalén; allí entró, fue arrestado, flagelado, sentenciado y crucificado. Holy Week is our annual remembrance and celebration of Jesus' sacrificial and triumphant act of love as He completed His mission here on earth. After three years of ministry, demonstrating His purpose to His disciples and establishing what was to become the new church. As the fateful day approached, Jesus moved toward Jerusalem, entered in where He was arrested, beaten, sentenced and put upon a cross. As He died, He declared "It is finished," meaning that His mission was complete on earth. After His resurrection, He appeared to hundreds, gave final instructions and finally ascended into the sky, to His seat at the right hand of the Father. What this means to us, who are now seated in Him 'in heavenly places,' is that we now have His life and victory. In this series we'll look at this powerful work of grace manifest in the person of Christ Jesus. His sacrifice for us changed everything!

In this Pt. 1, we will look at Jesus' preparation to enter into Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives. It was Spirit anointed and Spirit directed as they prepared to go into the city to celebrate the Passover. Little did the disciples suspect what awaited them. But Jesus knew. There's a great lesson for us in the WAY Jesus entered into the city. Let's look.
