We absolutely believe in the power of prayer. We know that our God is good, He is our Creator, and that He wants to be involved in our lives. Sometimes we try to do things only in our power and intelligence, and we end up with less than His best, or we get into big trouble. God tells us in 1 Jn. 5:14-15 "Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. ¹⁵ And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him." We just have to pray according to His good will and trust in faith that His grace is at work.
